Akort+ perdeyi ölçmek için mikrofona ihtiyaç duyar. iPhone'da Ayarlar → Akort+ → Mikrofon iznini açın. Mac'te Sistem Ayarları → Gizlilik ve Güvenlik → Mikrofon altında Akort+ işaretli olmalı. Başka bir uygulama mikrofonu tekelinde tutuyorsa onu kapatıp yeniden deneyin.
Söylemenize gerek yok. Akort+ çaldığınız sesi duyar ve en yakın perdeyi kendisi bulur. Standart dışı düzenlerle de bu yüzden çalışır.
Türk makam müziğinin 53 komalı Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek sistemine göre ölçer. Batı sisteminin on iki sesi arasındaki perdeleri "Fa diyez 3" gibi doğrudan adlandırır — bağlama, ud, kanun, ney ve tanburda kullanılan perdeler. Kromatik mod ise standart 12 sesli sistemdir.
Koma modunda her perde en yakın doğal notaya göre yazılır. Aynı sesi geleneksel yazımda başka türlü adlandırmak mümkündür; ölçülen perde değişmez, yalnız yazım tercihidir.
Enstrümanınızı farklı akort ettiyseniz ama alışkın olduğunuz pozisyonlarla düşünmeye devam etmek istiyorsanız, Ayarlar → Aktarım bölümünden çaldığınız notayı ve artık verdiği sesi seçin. Re teliniz artık Si sesi veriyorsa "Re = Si" ayarlayın; uygulama Si duyduğunda Re yazar. Yalnız adlar değişir — cent okuması gerçekte çaldığınız perdeyi ölçmeye devam eder.
Ayarlar → Referans perde altından A4 değerini 415–466 Hz arasında değiştirebilirsiniz.
Ayarlar → Akort toleransı ile akortta sayılan aralığı ±3, ±5 veya ±10 cent yapabilirsiniz.

Akort+ needs the microphone to measure pitch. On iPhone, enable it under Settings → Akort+ → Microphone. On Mac, check Akort+ under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone. If another app is holding the microphone exclusively, quit it and try again.
You do not. Akort+ hears what you play and finds the nearest pitch itself. That is also why non-standard tunings work.
It measures against the 53-comma Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek system of Turkish makam music, naming the pitches that fall between the Western semitones directly — the ones used on the bağlama, oud, kanun, ney and tanbur. Chromatic mode is standard twelve-tone equal temperament.
In makam mode every pitch is named against the nearest natural. The same sound can be spelled differently in traditional notation; the measured pitch is identical, only the spelling differs.
If you have retuned your instrument but still think in your usual positions, open Settings → Transposition and pick the note you play and the pitch it now sounds as. If your D string now sounds B, set "D = B"; hearing B, the app shows D. Only the names change — the cents reading still measures the pitch you are actually sounding.
Adjust the A4 reference between 415 and 466 Hz under Settings → Reference pitch.
Set the in-tune range to ±3, ±5 or ±10 cents under Settings → In-tune range.
